Euskaquitaine: who we are

The non-profit Euskaquitaine association was created in 2000. Its area encompasses the autonomous community of the Basque Country and the Aquitaine region, with 13 marinas in total. Euskaquitaine’s main goal is to work with its member harbours to boost the touristic and economic activity of the area, both on the coast and inland. For instance, the association takes part in different nautical fairs, including the Paris Boat Show, to promote its harbours. Its members meet regularly to discuss practices and improve their services. The association also prepares joint operations covering its entire territory.

A word from the president

Our association, which I preside since the spring of 2013, has taken a strategic turn with a positioning study that strengthened our legitimacy and suggested new steps to improve our actions. It’s with this perspective in mind that I am building, along with my counterparts from other harbours, a collective and territorial strategy.
